Lithium Powder Synthesis and Preparation of Powder‐Based Composite Electrodes for Application in Lithium Metal Batteries

The electrochemical performance of lithium metal batteries is affected by many factors, among which the negative electrode crucial. Although much research focused on electrodes from metallic foils, powder can also provide several advantages. Herein, synthesis (Lip) using a droplet emulsion technique described in detail and scientific background method provided. Furthermore, composite Lip-based prepared with conductive carbon additive (Super C65) via paste-casting reported. results indicate that under same material loading, at least twice practical capacity pure Lip lower overpotentials, as shown symmetric Li||Li cells. Full cells assembled an NMC622 cathode are cycled for 100 cycles show improved cycling compared full electrodes.
